ABOUT BJØRNÅDAL ARCHITECT STUDIO

Architecture is about finding good solutions that cover current and future needs in a good and lasting way.

WHO IS HANS-PETTER?

Hans-Petter Bjørnådal (1977) is a Norwegian civil architect Mnal, who graduated from the Bergen School of Architecture (BAS) in 2003.

Exhibited at the Biennale di Venezia and winner of the American Architecture Prize 2016 and others.

The works have been published internationally in, among others, Byggekunst, Topos, ArchDaily, Architizer, Designboom and others.

Hans-Petter has long worked towards the public and private sector within traditional approaches within the architectural services such as design, construction and area planning. But it is through his projects, where he shows his artistic convergence, that he has been awarded a number of national and international awards.

In his art project, Sacred Spaces, he explores the possibility of finding a connection between man, nature and the cosmos.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT?

Architecture is about facilitating life that will take place inside the built, and that this life thrives and grows in symbiosis with our world.

Architecture is not just the shell that keeps you dry and shields you from the forces of nature. It will also help to recreate the connection between man and nature, man and the cosmos.

To achieve this, we must start with the playful creativity that eventually meets this world and materializes in the face of regulations and detailed knowledge.

VISION

We have a vision to explore architecture with a more artistic approach to the world.

Exploring people, landscapes, cultures, sociology, myths and stories helps to create projects that are relevant to people and the human experience of the world in our modern society.
