REMA 1000 Entrance section

Local identity and site adaptation are important architectural tools for creating viable small towns. In this project, we use materials from the local iron works to create a local identity for a Rema 1000 store.

 

Another important theme was to develop the grocery store into a local marketplace where you meet neighbors and acquaintances over the fruit and vegetable counter.
